Our Land: the Tower and the Pieve of Galatrona
From the top of the Tower of Galatrona with its incredible panorama you can admire the vineyards and the terraced olive groves of Petrolo, the Chianti woods and the Vald’Arno di Sopra DOC area as far as the Pratomagno mountains.
The Pieve di Galatrona, originally a Paleochristian Church on the ancient Cassa Adrianea of significant importance for the area, today is a charming country church that contains precious Renaissance artworks in enameled terracotta by Giovanni Della Robbia: the 15th century statue of Saint John the baptist, the baptisimal font and tabernacle.
