The heart of the harvest
In the Middle Ages “Laudemio” was the best part of the harvest, reserved to the landlord. Since the 80s the Consortium of Laudemio selects, with a strict tasting commissions, the Tuscan extra virgin olive oils that can boast the Laudemio brand. The olives (Frantoio) are produced by organic farming in the olive groves of the estate, handpicked and cold pressed within 24 hours from harvest, via mechanical means only.
Organic IGP Toscano

With the presence of large areas of pristine woods, Petrolo is ideal for beekeeping. The honey of Galatrona, Wildflowers and Acacia, is produced in limited quantities and only with the estate's beehives. The scent and the balance of the honey is the result of special microclimate and constant work, caring for every single hive. The presence of the bees and their care is of primary importance, sign of a nondestructive agricolture, that fosters a correct natural and sustainable management of the territory.
